I am about to pull the trigger and get a 1022 and the livescope system. I am on a budget, in a 12 year old Skeeter. I understand that the Garmin livescope system pulls about 4.7 amps per hour, but by the time I buy the system, have a friend install it, the thought of another $200-600 bucks for a lithium battery is out.
